With all the flopping occurring throughout the game, I've come to believe that some players are bypassing legitimate scoring opportunities just to get a foul call.
I believe that an England player refused to go down and kept pushing the ball forward, although he was constantly checked, and almost scored a goal. Announcers mentioned that any of the checks could have been called a foul.
