but I doubt she'll go for it...it's not just douchebags...if it's with people she knows and likes (or even me - lol) she feels bad for holding them back because she knows she can't keep up with everyone and then she gets very self-conscious when people start telling her it's fine because she thinks it's not fine no matter how much she believes they really mean it's fine.

When she is adventuring alone she can concentrate on what she can do instead of having her limitations illustrated...she REALLY hates to be the center of attention - she once cried when the Red Lobster people brought her a birthday dessert and sang their dumb song...(I felt bad for her but I couldn't get mad at them because they did it for free and thinking they were doing something nice..which they were - just to someone who would have rather not)
