I found, in the upper left hand corner of the 'social' button (when open) is another button that can give some automated responses like 'busy' or 'away' or some such that gets it across.

There is more as well, I've not figured out how to either create or enter a 'room' or 'chat channel' (what ever they are calling it) and things like that should be a no brainer, easy to find out how to do. The first night I had it up, I played for a bit with my buddy Bill and it took us 10 minutes to figure out how to get a game going together.... sigh, that should not have been that hard.

Eventually I'll figure out how to do what I used to (or they will add it) but stuff like this should be easily found and right now it is not. Even conversation is hard.... Last night I messaged with Neoma for a few minutes (from different games) and later Bill came into my game... Well, the default was still to send messages to Neoma and it took me a few minutes to realize I was talking to someone not even logged on anymore... grrr.
