12. i'm not fond of 4e myself, so i do look forward to 5e

i think of it as a tactics miniatures game myself. however i can see the MMO aspects some people see from the AEDU format. overall it's a fun and decent game as long as i mentally divorce it from the AD&D RPG line. otherwise my nerd rage kicks into overdrive...

but that's another conversation entirely.

btw, i'm hearing interesting things from playtesters. naturally NDAs are involved and the best they can do is intimate some things based on feel and then talk about that which has already been confirmed. but from what i hear it is very different from the L&L column on WotC, which seems to be a misguided attempt to maintain word-of-mouth interest in all parties.
