Anyone here ever play at a gaming hall/parlor? [View all]

If so, would you be willing to discuss your experience?

I'm working on a story and it involves a complete noob taking shelter from bad guys in a gaming hall.

Being pretty much a complete noob myself, I'm not sure I can pull it off without some expert advice on the world of PC/XBox/etc. gaming.
