He runs a 4.71 40 yard dash so his speed is considered below average and almost poor by NFL standards. That means the most likely position would be at tight end and then his blocking ability comes into question. At the age of 26, he is most likely at the beginning of the middle third of his career so it's difficult to pick up the techniques involved in blocking and then the final part is ability to run routes--I'd like to give him some credit there since he is intelligent and knows where he needs to be due to his experience at QB, but once again those skills are unproven.

Hopefully, he was wise and banked some of the salary during his time in the NFL. However, with the present state of affairs I don't expect him to be around in another five years no matter what position he plays.
