Jimmy Garoppolo also went to the super bowl (same team too). Is he any good? Hell no, he's been stinking ever since getting to Vegas. There is a fairly long list of starting QBs who went to the super bowl that actually aren't any good.

AS far as the issue at hand:
#1: depends on how much he wants
#2: who gets cut to make a roster slot (the one Rogers had has already been filled)
