by Annalee Newitz. Science fiction, takes place in an alternate reality in which ancient time-travel machines have been around and been used for thousands of years. All too often the timeline is edited in some way. The novel revolves around women who are desperately trying to undo edits which have resulted in women being oppressed. Very interesting.
