Those quaintly depicted Colonists were genocidal terrorist. ISIS has NOTHING on them.

And after they annihilated a Native community, they would hold a feast of thanksgiving, likely eating the stolen food of the dead natives.

This scenario was repeated up and down the east coast. They would have likely failed at establishing the early colonies were it not for the ransacking of Native towns for food, supplies and land to cultivate.

That’s my take after reading the book.
