2. It is possible to correct posture. My mid 80's

DH corrected his bent-over walk with physical therapy. But what you have may not be posture. The "dowager's hump, if that's what you really have, is generally caused by the collapse of the vertebrae due to osteoporosis. There' s also a higher up, smaller lump (I have it) which is caused by a lifetime of reading with head bent forward or of pulling one's shoulders together to disguise large breasts (that's not what caused mine, lol). I've always done lat pulls at the gym and I think it helps, but it's getting harder to find real free weight lat pullers.
