3. some people are old..

and it doesn't depend on age. I remember in my youth, I had a friend age 30- who would groan when he got up out of a chair, and say, "I'm getting old."
I thot that was strange and sad, even way back then.
Now I'm 65, sometimes I groan getting out of a chair, but I also walk an hour a day, and do yoga, and eat (sorta) well, and no longer drink alcohol. and avoid doctors.
I don't try not to be my age, but I don't let it dictate my life. I have a friend my age, who 90% of her talk is about medicare, and social security, and who died, and who is sick.
Yeah, I talk about these things too, they are part of life, but I also am interested in Chavez, and climate, and ecology, and have an active social life which includes people of all ages.
I'm saying this not to brag, but to say that age really IS (in that trite saying) a matter of mind as well as body.
