Compulsive about keeping busy. [View all]

Anyone else feel that as you are getting older you need to accomplish more every day?

I feel guilty if I'm not constantly in motion (except while on the net or eating) cleaning, exercising, doing yoga, painting - a hobby, cooking, baking, re-decorating, etc.

I envy people who can sit down in the middle of the day and just chill - read a book or watch tv.

Time goes by so fast as we age - its Sunday then its Friday, then its Sunday again - whoosh - there goes another week, another month, etc. I feel like my time is racing by so fast like someone speeding up a merry go round and I'm trying to cling onto my horse so I don't fall off by racing faster and faster.

Its probably just life in the city - LOL - for example, I'm a fast walker (daily runner) yet when I'm walking down the street now I'm always getting passed my people half my age - I used to be passing them! Makes me feel I'm slipping up - have "lost a step" as they say in sports so I find myself race walking to pass them up!

Am I alone in this time warp nuttiness??
