Maybe the front half of the 1990's. Born in the 50's, teenage anxiety in the 1960's, but had a successful folk group that made every glorious day worth getting up for. I had a blast at college and met my husband in the 70's. Had kids and owned a successful custom screen printing business in the 80s. Struggled during the 90's recession years, but the 90's were saved by the internet, for which I sold my business and became a web developer. The 2000's were a wild ride of boom and bust but overall it rocked. At the start of the 2010's came my first grandchild, then the second, for whom I am smitten.
Of late, the husband just retired, I continue to freelance and we're building a cabin home on a lake. More ups and downs, but's all good. What's not to love? Spent the first half of my life in Hawaii, and the second half in Seattle. Happily married for almost 43 years, with a few ups and downs there too! Our kids and grandkids are healthy, happy and live nearby, so who could ask for more? I've been blessed.
