I challenged based upon tupper's poor wording of a sentence, & qualified my question by first asking what he was talking about: tupper: The AR-15 is functionally no different from any other semi-automatic rifle that accepts a detachable magazine. I challenge on this basis that 10's of millions of americans own an ar15, pls provide a source..

I challenged on the basis of his uncertain wording, sloppy & ambiguous, and clearly qualified my challenge tentatively on 'this basis', being his referring to the AR15, which it seemed he was.
