(16,974 posts)I will give you the benefit of saying the former. As I have always been for UBC, strengthening the enforcement of current laws. Am not against firearms training and some kind of licence to own. I even think that licence could have an endorsement by type of firearm. Bolt action, revolver, semi pistol, semi rifle. Ensure weapons are removed if a person becomes a prohibited person. Charge people for negligent discharges or a child gets hold of a firearm. Free Gun locks and a voucher for at least a basic firearms safe for long weapons. Magazine size limits to 20 rounds and a government buyback for larger functional magazines. Not to mention universal health care to include mental health coverage. Really the only things I am against are confiscation without due process, cosmetic feature bans and government registration.
Those are just off the top of my head for a start.
