Telling people that the cops would not be there to protect them and therefore they needed mo' guns. So, it is no surprise that he get NRA support.

I am not sure why the lady needed a gun so badly. Here in NJ, we have strict laws about carrying guns. We like it that way. We should not have to tolerate guns coming in from other states.

But I would say one of the reasons that the NRA likes these three is racist--they want to boost gun ownership among minorities because one of the their unwritten missions is to boost sales for gun makers.

Their penetration of minority populations is half or less than what it is for white Americans. Can you imagine the money that could be made if they can rile up brown people like they have white people?
