My daughter has a colony of feral cats in her [View all]

neighborhood. She and other neighbors have worked together to spay and neuter most of them.

There was one a few years ago who hung around and I bought him a heated cat house for their deck and he loved it (so did a local possum one night!) Anyway, he died (we think someone poisoned him) and I gave the cat house to a lovely woman who does a lot of rescue work.

Well, my daughter got another unheated house that some of the cats use and she puts straw in. I was wondering if anyone has used any type of heating pad made for the purpose of keeping the locals warm. The house is being used, along with others in the neighborhood. . It’s just so damned cold out.

Thanks for any advice.
