18. He's dark gray, not black, and quite large. Bombays aren't that big.

Rare breeds like Bombays and Russian Blues aren't likely to turn up in shelters. They were surrendered because they didn't get along with the family dog - not likely that an expensive pedigreed cat would be given to a pet rescue.
