'RISE OF BIG VET' Wall Street's Plan For America's Pets: Private Equity Buying Up Veterinary Practices [View all]

(16 mins). More Perfect Union, Aug. 7, 2025.
https://perfectunion.us/
--------
- Private Equity/PE firms and mega corporations control 50% of all veterinary clinics, up from 10% a decade ago. In that time, the cost of veterinary care has increased by double the rate of inflation. Vets told us about short staffing, long hours and constant pressure to boost profits.

YouTube Comments, Select:
- This type of Private Equity/PE needs to be outlawed. It's pretty much a cancer at this point.
- Priced out of home ownership, priced out of having kids, and now priced out of having a freaking cat.
- These are the same people who stole our medical care, our utilities, our housing, our internet services, our food...
- And with 'AI "companions" they also don't want you to have real human connections anymore.
- I'm a vet and I'm glad this is finally being talked about.
