Loose lay flooring [View all]

Awhile back , I had stopped at a flooring store just for ideas. For now, I have just subfloor in my little kitchen and old carpeting in the adjoining living room. I saw on display Karndean Designflooring and right off thought that would work for me. It doesn't require gluing (expect in high traffic transition areas such as entry ways) and can be cut to fit with a razor knife.

It's expensive though at about $5 a square foot and I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with it.
