You can do this, but make sure that you take vitamins, and that the meals you eat other than the shakes include fruits and veggies. I did this in the lead up to and for a few weeks after weight-loss surgery. But you will eventually have to go back to eating real food. So your eating habits surrounding regular food will need to change long-term to maintain the weight loss.
