21. Not every MD agrees that overeating fits into a systemic disease model

But some do. Absolutely.

Frankly, if that works for you, more power to you (for real! If it works, helps - then it's a good reframe).

I don't need OA, though I suppose if I needed group support I would do that.

My diet for the past few years has been very good (I try to get better and better every year. This year, I have cut out all butters, for instance). And most oils are gone (I do have some in the house, for my daughter). When she goes to college in the Fall, I will stop buying them at all.

My overall strategy is just to do better all the time. Two years ago, I cut out all salty foods (I used to buy a small bag). I don't do that anymore. TBH, I don't have much need for any big improvement at the moment. I eat only whole foods, am a vegetarian (mostly vegan). I eat lots of greens.

I feel good.

Everyone has their own path up the mountain . That's mine.
