8. I had it done in 2004. Cake walk.

I experienced almost nothing, since I was asleep for almost all of the procedure. Stayed overnight in the hospital, light duty for a week.

Life changing experience. Risk is very low and it is not a new procedure. It is well established, and the doctor doing it will have done it hundreds of times.

Don't even hesitate. Go for it.
