7. My aunt has dealt with this kind of cancer a few times

I believe she has had 3 separate bouts with it, each one several years apart and with spots that sound similar to yours. Her last go round was about a year and a half ago when she was 94. She's doing fine and it seems to be gone and she's still making jokes about her "delicate Irish skin". (And skin cancer is something that is not uncommon in the family, though it's usually basal (sp) cells).

While not to be ignored, this cancer can be dealt with and I do hope all goes as well for you as it has for my aunt.
