4. Yes! Kudos to the caregivers

Sometimes, I think that in some ways, it's easier to be the patient than the one who takes care of them.I don't think I could ever do as good a job as my husband has done over this past year. He's kept the house livable, never complained about frozen dinners/quickie meals, did the marketing when necessary, drove me to all appointments, took over care of our cat Missy (the litter box is a no-no for a chemo patient), and always had something encouraging or silly to say when I needed it. At times I talked endlessly about what I was feeling and he never told me, "Enough already!"

I'm still getting Herceptin treatments and they have their own unpleasant side effects...but I can see the end of treatment coming soon and it cannot come soon enough for me.
