I am in fact an avowed atheist, I am also a 35 year member of AA....This is just my opinion but I have seen many many people at the tables make this statement and the thought that goes through my mind is "Another one looking for and excuse". Take what you can from the program and leave the rest but don't keep looking for excuses..There is no reason whatsoever to use any "god" of any sort...
