Had cataract surgery 10/7 and 11/4. I had astigmatism in both eyes so I had a different lens. I opted for laser surgery which is not covered by insurance. My husband had his done this summer and neither of us had any problems. i can be a baby and was anxious but it really was quite easy. The surgery itself is 10-15 minutes (at least the laser surgery is). most of the time involved is for the prep. We realized how bad our eyes were when we barely passed the DMV vision test when we moved last year to another state. Right now i am sitting here on my iPad and don’t need glasses. It’s great. I have a script in case I decide that I want to fill it, but right now all is good. Go for it, it will be fine. You will be able to see again.
