Anyone understand CBC lab results? [View all]

I saw my primary doctor today. He had the lab run CBC blood work. Tonight around 9 PM I got an email from the lab with the results. I know from past experience my doc will also get it.

All was OK except the "ABSOLUTE NEUTROPHILS" was high.

Normal range, according to the lab info, is 1500 - 7800, and mine is 8230.

I wonder if that's connected to the unexpected 11.5 pound weight loss I had over the past two months? (I wasn't trying to lose weight)

I see my cardiologist Monday, and expect I'll hear from my primary about the lab results too.
