Vietnam War Nurses Memorial

http://www.pbase.com/kerrypierce/image/31492821/original

I was with my sister the first time I saw this. We went to see the Wall first but when we walked over to the Nurse Memorial we both started crying. It represents our friends, our classmates, girls from MYF, and summer camp. That damn war took our hopes, caused so much grief, and divided families in ways that will never heal.

But at least the women finally got a mention.
