I think having honest communication is always hard to achieve because everyone has feelings and eventually feelings get hurt. Unless you're extremely callous, that often puts you in an awkward position too. Do I hammer home the point and disregard someone's feelings or do I take a moment and think about how I'm going to make my point? It's a fine line and not always achievable.
