it is born. The mother's life and well-being are paramount. This is the point.

The anti-abortion people base their entire argument on the idea that life begins at conception, which is entirely based on the idea of a soul entering into that fertilized egg at fertilization. They want to save souls. This is imposing a religious belief on all - a violation of the First Amendment.
