WASHINGTON/BAGHDAD/DUBAI, April 14 (Reuters) - "Turkish, Jordanian and Iraqi officials said on Sunday that Iran gave wide notice days before its drone and missile attack on Israel, but U.S. officials said Tehran did not warn Washington and that it was aiming to cause significant damage."

The only reason there was so little physical damage was that Israel has the Iron Dome and received a lot of international help. Without that, it would have been a devastating attack. Plus, the cost of the defense was about 1 billion dollars. That alone is a lot of damage. This was not in any way a proportional and innocent tit-for-tat attack. I wonder what would have happened had the defense not been so ironclad. I believe some or many of the missiles were aimed at Jerusalem. What if the al-Aqsa mosque was destroyed? Whew. boggles the mind.
