and I recommend the movie "The Insult" from 2017. It is in Arabic with English subtitles. It was from Lebanon and was nominated for an Oscar for 2018 for Best Foreign Language Film. It is about a Lebanese Christian man and a Palestinian refugee battling each other over a remark by one to the other and a physical assault in response. As the movie progresses the wife of the Lebanese man has an argument with her husband about him continuing to press the fight in court. She wants him to stop and tells him he is doing this not for his family but for himself. She has a very pertinent comment when she says to him "You'll burn everything but not turn the page."

This is where we are. All the terror groups, the governments of the countries supporting the various side, the weapons merchants supplying the tools for the carnage are aptly described by the words from that movie. The list of tit-for-tat atrocities has a long past in the Middle East region and it appears the list will continue to grow because the only ones in control who can do so will not turn the page.
