No Hitlers or Mussolinis or Lenins or Stalins or Maos or Pol Pots or Chaveces.

Wars of and repressions by religion were replaced by wars of and repressions by competing non-theological but still utterly "-ogical" totalizing value systems in the 20th century, with catastrophizing results.

Then again, I was told in college that those--meaning "not people like us"--in an ideology can't see that they're in an ideology.
