But the thing is, even if Abbas and Netanyahu held hands and sang kumbaya, where would the Palestinian state be if there's nowhere to put it? I think that Netanyahu's response to the Quartet report shows that a Palestinian state can't happen, and that it's time to look for alternatives. 600.000 settlers can't be removed - there's simply no political will to do that.
