regardless of their particular brand names.

That's why the Republicans supported the creation of the Taliban and supplied arms to the Iranian theocratic dictatorship, they assumed that monotheistic fundamentalists were their natural allies against "godless" Marxism.

Of course the Islamists actually consider atheists (and pagans) to be neutrals ripe for conversion in their holy war against "Satanic" rival monotheists, but conservatives never let reality get in the way of expedient ideology.
