7. I don't think either society or sexuality are "problems" that need to be "fixed", myself.

Neither are the consensual monogamous arrangements most but not all people choose to engage in.

I don't have a problem with marriage, I don't have a problem with people not getting married. I don't have a problem with people who like to screw around with a variety of consenting adult partners. I don't have a problem with people who don't.

I think some people are sexually repressed, but on the whole, I think our society is trending in a positive direction in this regard; particularly, in leaps and bounds, in terms of acceptance of, say, our LGBT friends and allies- something which has seen a sea change in the past decade or so.

I think some societies are horribly sexually repressed, but ours isn't one of them. And I am wary when people come in with grand, sweeping pronouncements about how the vast majority of the other people are "doing it wrong". That's one of the same issues I take with Dworkin and her buddies.

Interesting read, but like Jeff, I pretty much disagree. I also think that true self liberation comes from within---> out, not the other way around.
