11. I tend to blame violent acts on the perpetrators of the violent acts, too. Silly me, huh?

However, some folks have developed entire cottage industries around coming up with convoluted sociological narratives to blame violent or criminal acts on nebulous societal forces, ill-defined concepts, or entire groups of people who were not, actually, involved with the actual act.
