At a press conference, the mayor of Medellín, Federico Gutiérrez, identified the 36-year-old American who was found by the Medellín Police locked up with two 12- and 13-year-old girls in a room at the Gotham hotel as Timothy Alan Livingston.

According to Gutierrez, this guy arrived in the country from Fort Lauderdale and after being held, he returned to his country. He arrived on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin last week and returns on a direct flight to Fort Lauderdale on Friday 29 in the afternoon, he revealed.

However, the mayor of Medellín said they are already carrying out all the relevant investigations, so that once they are clear about the facts, they can ask the US authorities for help in due process of law against Mr Timothy Alan Livingston.
