even return to Cuba, after deciding they prefer their old routines and lives after all. They are unaware that some "exiles" have come and gone to and from Cuba for decades. They never have realized the reason ordinary US Americans haven't been legally allowed to go check things out in Cuba for themselves is because the US Government bans it for regular citizens.

They never bother to think about it, let alone try to find out why. They'd rather live with the lie, even though it's a whopper, and makes them look stupid!
