5. I don't care if the vast majority of Americans (wrongly) consider him too liberal.

I'm just trying to figure out what I think about him. I'm hardly a wild lefty ...but I worry when he hints at taking money out of social security to pay for the deficit..social security is the only pension that many ordinary people have...to take any of that away strikes me as remarkably regressive. .Corporate taxes are at an all time low, to name just one place where we might consider finding some cash. And I can't help but feeling that the Big Bad Deficit is not quite as dangerous as some would have us believe.
I meant "murky" to describe such aforementioned financial theories/plans. Nothing to do with trends in American voter thought.
