25. I'm all for the green revolution myself

And try to practice what I preach by leaving as small a footprint as reasonably practical. I grow much of my own fruits and veggies and prefer passive, non-mechanical approaches to problems. A few months after I retired and moved where I am now, the city sent out an inspector to make sure my meters were kosher, because my utility bills were about 1/4 what previous residents had racked up.

Regardless, that's how I prefer to practice 'peace is war by other means' in my own way. Protect Mother Earth by making war on waste and hate and all that other bad stuff. I'm also what's known as an 'Irish pacifist' because I try to anticipate and head off trouble amicably whenever possible. Win-win is the best way. But I'll admit to coming down a bit hard on someone who absolutely refuses to leave me in peace. As my own father exemplified, beware the wrath of a patient man. I was a daddy's girl.

They're refering to us, Hekate.. Cha Jul 2013 #1
