There is no way that the Obama who spoke during the elections is not the Obama in office. There is a stage that is set within which the president is placed. Any one of the surrounding players can be almost immovable. The Pentagon. I think mainly the Pentagon is one which must give Obama a lot of trouble. Well established life long, powerful players. And then Congress with the adversaries. McConnell didn't even hide it: We're going to make this a one term president. That was their oath. What Obama is up against must be monumental. If only he could speak the truth and tell us. You know he can't. There's a lot he simply cannot do. And it's sad. I often think a president Kucinich would have been great, and very short.
