2. Several things you can try

Unpin from taskbar then do a restart. This might work.

To uninstall, go to SETTINGS, then in the left column APPS, then INSTALLED APPS
Find SKYPE in the alphabetical list of all programs on your computer
Click the THREE DOTS and select uninstall from the drop down menu.

From memory I think Win 10 settings are similar to Win 11. If not get back to this group and hopefully someone using Win 10 can elaborate.

It seems that Skype has set itself to run at startup. If you don't want to uninstall it, but keep it on your machine without running continuously we can stop it from doing that. But try the above first and get back to us.
