Yeah, I said that badly. I used the term as shorthand for "vote for all the Democrats on the ballot and nobody else" to get it to fit in the title line. I haven't lived in a state that actually had a mechanism to do that with a single checkmark for a few decades. Of course, the theoretical fake ballots in those states could use that mechanism and the rest could fill in all the selections in the whole ballot.
