7. People can have different opinions but you can only have one set of facts

However people will see what they want to see and the facts can be damned ...
Here in Columbus, OH OSU's Byrd Institute of Polar Studies has an excellent
scientist called Lonnie Thompson who has been looking @ ice cores from around
the world and what they show on the earth's climate history and they show
that global warming is real and it started w/ the industrial revolution and the
use of fossil fuels. Prof. Thompson has had people tell him to his face that
he is wrong and all the data he has collected does not show what it shows.
One time some whack job (an optometrist ) wanted to set up a debate w/ him over
the "controversy" but he said that he didn't want to give "his nonsense" any
kind of pub.

Here is a fun graph that is very hard to explain

In 2004 all states that had paper ballots the exit polls matched the vote
with a slight drift to Kerry less than the margin of error but in all states
where they used electronic machines the exit polls did not match the vote
and their was a drift to bush that was greater than the margin of error.

This is election night 2004 to the left of Rove is Susan Ralston who used to
work for Jack Abromoff and through Bob Ney is connected to HAVA ... Help
America Vote Act .... which after Florida 2000's problems got the country
to use electronic voting machines. Karl claimed that his own private polls
allowed him to predict a bush victory but in fact he knew that the votes
would be "taken care of." The flip was not just in Ohio.
