I live in the Portland, OR area now but graduated from WSU, subsequently living in Pullman for 20 years, Port Townsend, and then Tacoma. My sister and her husband voted for Trump in 2016, but we have avoided speaking politics since then. My oldest niece's husband interned for Congressman Nethercutt back in the day, and he attended their wedding. We wouldn't shake his hand. My youngest niece babysat his dog on many occasions. They are strong Republicans. We are equally strong Democrats. I have to pry my husband to stay with my sister and husband due to her husband's taunts of Hillary in 2016. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see several Harris/Walz signs at the lake where they live. I also saw many Ferguson signs. I can't stand Reichart after living in the Puget Sound region for 16 years. I am hoping my sister is not voting for Trump, but it was great to see that there are Democrats in the area who are willing to show their support. It has been a long time since I have seen signs for Democrats.
