Tarrant County's Elections Administrator has resigned [View all]

I am so devastated. Heider has run an impeccable elections office with integrity, and ever since the new county judge was elected, Heider has been subjected to unbelievable harassment and accusations. He is easily the most respected Elections Commissioner in the entire state.

There are a number of related articles there aHout some of the election shenanigans the Lege is trying to pull.

I look for Heider to do well in the future, but I don't now about us.

This idiot County Judge wants to totally trash our elections, all because President Biden carried Tarrant in 2020. No early voting, no vote by mail, (which are state laws so he can't do anything about them) The worst thing is he wants to go back to hand marked ballots, all voted on Election Day and precounted at the precinct before they are delivered to the central office.

I think the Commissioner's Court can override him on some of the stuff that will impact our elections the most. I sure do hope so.
