1. Demographics of District 21 (north central Allegheny County)

I made this little map to show where PA House District 21 is within Allegheny County. (I'm in District 19 so I can't vote in this special election.) It's really going to come down to neighborhood organization in these areas - knocking on doors, handing out flyers, making phone calls to friends and neighbors. It's not that advertising doesn't work, but this is such a focused area of neighborhoods. TV advertising might not help in this case.

District 21 is mostly suburban, but it also extends a little into the city of Pittsburgh, mainly in Lawrenceville and parts of Bloomfield and Garfield. Most of the District is north of the Allegheny River, the towns of Millvale, Shaler, Etna, Reserve Township, and the eastern part of Ross Township.

The District consists of 62% Democrats and 35% Republicans.
Relax, we've got this - as long as we GET THE VOTE OUT!
