I know people who had successful bypass surgery at Albany Med, saw one of them last night and he was doing quite well. And when my mother fell five years ago when we had a blackout during Hurricane Irene, she was in surgical intensive care for three weeks in Albany Med. I drove down there every single day, so I got to know the place - and the care she received couldn't have been better - or more compassionate, at least among the staff, since I got to know quite a few of them.
